William Dise

John Chew is an American who calls Haiti home since the 1980’s. His background in Construction has allowed him to be involved with projects all over the island: from revamping and nationalizing a mission compound to keep it self-sustaining, to overseeing the building of 93km of the Pont Sondé Road, to coordinating the construction of over three hospitals in rural Haiti.

His expertise ranges from water systems to agriculture and micro enterprise and sports activities including working with at risk youth.

Currently John is wrapping up his work as project manager in the 18 million dollar Royal Oasis Hotel in Petion Ville, Haiti. He is interested in bringing together parties who are interested in investing and building a more sustainable Haiti. John has experience in conducting field studies for potential impact and investments for both small and large businesses.
