Leslie Lishon Sosnowski

Leslie completed her secondary and university studies in Switzerland and France. In 1981 she received her Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (Glendale, AZ).

After 2 years of multinational commercial bank training in NYC, she worked in the computer and food industries in Colorado and Utah.

Leslie settled in Boulder, Colorado to marry and raise her family. In 1999 she began sponsoring children in a remote rural school in Haiti.

In February 2007, Leslie visited the village of Petit Trou de Nippes, Haiti. The parable of her visit was portrayed in a 3-day front-page series of articles in the local paper, which marked the beginning of her work as a local conduit to projects working in Haiti. Both of her daughters have travelled to Haiti with her.

In December 2008, she helped fund and organize, the American Airlines Haiti Hurricane Relief Flight where 63,000 lbs of aid valued at over $1million was procured and shipped on a donated airbus A-300 and delivered to 18 NGO’s and churches throughout Haiti.

In 2009, Leslie received the humanitarian award from Melky Jean’s CARMA foundation for her work to improve the condition of women and children in Haiti.

In February 2010, Leslie was selected by Project Medishare’s field hospital in Haiti as an earthquake relief second responder.

In September, 2011 Leslie formally organized BoulderShares®.   The registered trademark was granted in October of 2011.

Leslie is an honorary Board Member of Special Olypmics Haiti.

The official recognition of the partnership between BoulderShares and the Caribbean Hotel Tourism Association Education Fund (CHTAEF) – Haiti Project was witnessed in Port-au-Prince in the Fall of 2014.
